    • Replace after removing
    • Quantity: 4
    • Tightening specifications and sequence
      • Q5 without high-voltage system. Refer to Fig 3.
      • Q5 with high-voltage system. Refer to Fig 4.
  4. Crossmember
    • Equipped on some models
  5. Bolt
    • Replace after removing
    • Tightening specification. Refer to Fig 2.
  6. Foam Seal
  7. Impact Member
  8. Socket
  9. Bolt
    • Quantity: 2
    • 3.5 Nm

Impact Member - Tightening Specification and Sequence

-- Tighten the bolts and nuts gradually in the sequence shown.

Step Bolts Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1. -1 to 8- 50 Nm
2. -1 to 8- 45°

Q5 without high-voltage system: impact member with trailer hitch - tightening specification and sequence.

-- Tighten the bolts in steps in the sequence shown.

Step Bolts Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1. -1 to 4- 70 Nm
2. -1 to 4- 180°

Q5 with high-voltage system: impact member with trailer hitch - tightening specification and sequence.
