Bumper Cover Lower Section, Removing And Installing, SPORTBACK: Removing

-- Remove the bumper cover trim. Refer to BUMPER COVER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SPORTBACK .

-- Remove the lower section of the bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER LOWER SECTION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SPORTBACK .

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 3- and free up the wiring harness -4-.

-- Remove the tail lamp. Refer to LOWER TAIL LAMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the filler piece -2- and remove it.

-- Release the catches -1, 2 and 3- and remove the bumper cover lower section -4- from the bumper cover.

-- Place the bumper cover lower section on a soft surface.

-- Remove the bumper cover trim. Refer to BUMPER COVER TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SPORTBACK .

-- Release the retainers -arrows- and remove the lower section -1- from the bumper cover.
