Seat Position Sensor, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Disconnect the modular wiring routing. Refer to MODULAR WIRING ROUTING, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the wire for the Driver Seat Position Sensor -G553- / Front Passenger Seat Position Sensor -G554- with the connector and free up.

-- Remove the bolt -1-, unclip the seat position sensor -2- from the seat pan lower frame and disengage it.

-- If installed, remove the wire clip -arrow- for the wire on the seat pan lower frame.

-- Free up and disconnect the connector -1- to the seat belt latch.

-- Front passenger seat: disconnect the connector -2- on the Passenger Seat Occupant Detection Sensor -G128-.

-- Remove the cable ties or wire clips -arrows- for the wire on the seat pan lower frame.

-- Remove the seat position sensor with the wires.
