-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to Front Bumper .

-- Remove the bolt -2- and remove the Pedestrian Protection Center Crash Sensor -G693- -item 3- from the bumper.

WARNING:

Risk of injury due to involuntary deployment.

  • Before handling pyrotechnic components (for example, disconnecting the connector), the person handling it must "discharge static electricity". For example, this can be done by briefly touching the door striker.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- by pressing down the connector lock.
