Center Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat. Refer to BENCH SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fold the rear seat backrests forward.

-- Push the center bearing cover -1- with a small screwdriver out of the retainer -arrow A-.

-- Tilt the center bearing cover toward the rear and disengage at the hook -arrow B-.

-- Fold the rear seat backrests forward.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

-- Tilt the securing bracket -2- forward and disengage downward from the center bearing -arrow- at the same time.

-- Pry out the rear seat backrests from the center bearing and move to the side.

NOTE:

Disengaging the rear seat backrest from the mountings will be enough.

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -3-.

-- Remove the center support -2- from the underbody.
