Backrest Cover, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the front seat all the way forward and up.

-- Grasp on the backrest cover lower edge with both hands pull upward using force and at the same time remove rearward from the hooks -arrows-.

-- This will disengage the lower retainers -A arrows- from the backrest frame. If necessary, use the Pry Lever:80-200  .

-- Pull the backrest cover by hand toward the rear with force; this causes the side hooks -B arrows- to release from the backrest frame.

TIP

To display the hook more clearly, the backrest is shown from the front without a cushion.

-- Insert the flat-head screwdriver as shown between the cushion and the backrest cover.

-- Push the cushion forward, disengage the retainer -arrow A- and hook -arrow B- with the screwdriver and at the same time, pull the backrest cover downward from the catch.

-- Repeat the procedure for the hook on the opposite side.

-- Pull the backrest cover downward from the backrest frame catches -arrows- and remove.
