Glove Compartment Lid, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the glove compartment lid damping element. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT LID DAMPING ELEMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Place the glove compartment on a soft surface.
-- Press the retainers together using pliers -A arrows- and at the same time, remove the hinge pin -1- in the -direction of arrow B- using a screwdriver.
-- Repeat the procedure on the opposite side.
-- Remove the hinge pin using pliers.
-- Remove the glove compartment cover -2- from the glove compartment -3-.
