Center Console Insert, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the center console decorative trim. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE DECORATIVE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Vehicles with gearshift lever
-- Lift the shift lever boot -1- by hand or carefully pry it out on the side with the Trim Removal Wedge:3409 -arrows- and fold it upward.
Vehicles with selector lever
-- Remove the selector lever handle. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM .
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Starting at the back, unclip the insert -1- upward from the center console -arrow A- through -arrow C- using the Trim Removal Wedge:3409 .
-- Disengage the remaining hooks from the insert.
-- Carefully turn the insert -1-, disconnect the connectors and remove them.
