Center Console Bracket, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the center console. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the selector mechanism. Refer to SHIFT MECHANISM .
-- Remove the noise insulation.
-- Release the retainers -A arrows- and slide the sleeve -1- on the emergency release cable in the -direction of the arrow B-.
-- Disengage the rear section of the emergency release cable from the front section of the emergency release cable -arrow C-.
-- Remove the nuts -1- and -3-.
-- Release the retainers -arrows-, lower the brackets -2- for the emergency release.
-- Remove the center console bracket.
