GROUND CABLE WITH Battery Monitoring Control Module -J367-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Switch off the ignition and place the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Remove the rear luggage compartment floor. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the impact protector -2-.

Battery -A-, 0K0/0K3 and VH0:

-- If the nut -6- for the ground cable is not accessible, remove the left luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING and remove the mount for the vehicle tool kit.

-- Open the cover -2- over the battery negative terminal.

-- Loosen the nut -3- several turns and remove the battery ground cable terminal clamp from the battery terminal.

-- Disconnect the connector -5-.

-- Remove the nut -6- and remove the ground cable -1- with the Battery Monitoring Control Module -J367- -item 4-.

Battery -A-, 0K4 and VH2:

-- Remove the luggage compartment floor -1- upward from the retainers in the direction of -arrows-.

-- Remove the tool box.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Place the battery bracket with the securing strap -2- toward the front.

-- Remove the battery cover -1-.

-- Loosen the nut -1- several turns and remove the battery ground cable clamp from the battery terminal.

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Remove the nut -5-.

-- Free up the ground cable -4- -arrow- and remove with the Battery Monitoring Control Module -J367- -item 3-.
