BRACKET FOR Electric Drive Power and Control Electronics -JX1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI Q5: Removing

-- Remove the left impact guard. Refer to OVERVIEW - UNDERBODY TRIM PANELS .

-- Support with Engine and Gearbox Jack:VAS 6931 and universal mounting plate from the electric drive power and control electronics.

Front Bracket:

-- Remove the rear tunnel brace. Refer to TUNNEL BRACE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -2-.

-- Remove the bracket -1-.

Side Bracket:

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the nuts -1, 2 and 4- and the bolt -5-.

-- Free up the coolant lines -3 and 6-.

-- Remove the nut -5- and free up the wire -4-.

-- Remove the screws -6-.

-- Open the cover -1-.

-- Remove the wire -2- and free it up.

-- Remove the bracket -3- downward and at the same time push the coolant line slightly to the side.

Rear Bracket:

CAUTION:

There is a risk of fatal injury due to high voltage.

Electrocution by direct contact or electric arc can cause severe bodily injury or fatal injury.

- Have an Audi high-voltage technician (HVT) or an Audi high-voltage expert (HVE) de-energize the high-voltage system.

-- De-energize the high-voltage system. Refer to HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM, DE-ENERGIZING .

-- Free up the high-voltage cables -3-.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the bracket -1-.
