Brake Pads, Removing And Installing, Brakes 1LC, 1LE And 1LF: Removing

-- Remove the brake caliper. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BRAKE 1LC, 1LE AND 1LF .

TIP:

Label the brake pads when removing if they are going to be used again. Install in the same position, otherwise the braking effect will be uneven.

-- Release the retainer in direction of -B arrows- and remove the spring bracket -2- in direction of -arrow A- ; hold onto the brake pads -1- firmly while doing so.

-- Pull the brake pads -1- off of the brake caliper pistons and remove.

-- Remove the anti-friction plates -2-.
