The oil filter must be open before opening the drain plug.
Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit :SMN372500
- Oil Drain Plug Assembly Tool :T10549 for oil drain plugs on plastic oil pans
- Torque Wrench, 6-50Nm :V.A.G 1331A , measuring range: 6 to 50 Nm
- Or: Torque Wrench (20-100 Nm) :VAS 5820 , measuring range: 20 to 100 Nm
- Or: Electronic Torque Wrench 3-60Nm :VAS 6583 , measuring range 3 to 60 Nm
