Display Control Head Trim, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the steering wheel as far up and backward as possible to be able to use the entire steering column adjustment range.

-- Remove the instrument panel cover on the driver side. Refer to DRIVER SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front passenger side decorative trim for the instrument panel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL DECORATIVE TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the center console insert. Refer to CENTER CONSOLE INSERT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the front storage compartment in the center console. Refer to FRONT CENTER CONSOLE STORAGE COMPARTMENT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the switch module in instrument panel, center. Refer to BUTTONS IN INSTRUMENT PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the lamp for the instrument panel center storage compartment. Refer to COMPONENT LOCATION OVERVIEW - INSTRUMENT PANEL LAMPS .

-- Remove the bolts -1- and -2-.

-- Disengage the lower side trim on the crossmember -A arrows-.

-- Remove the trim with the A/C display control head toward the rear from the instrument panel -arrow B-.

-- Disconnect the connectors and remove the trim with the A/C display control head upward.
