Rear Window, Installing

Pay attention to the repair information. Refer to REPAIR INFORMATION .
Necessary Tools and Materials for Removing and Installing. Refer to REQUIRED TOOLS AND MATERIALS FOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

-- Prepare the new window glass for installation. Refer to NEW WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

-- Prepare the undamaged window glass for installing. Refer to UNDAMAGED WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

-- Prepare the body flange for installation. Refer to BODY FLANGE, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .

-- For reinstalling the old shim, place the new spacer on the marks applied on the ceramic coating inward on the rear window.

-- Insert the rear window into the window opening using suction lifters.

-- Center the window glass at the sides.

-- Secure the window in window opening with adhesive tape.

-- Minimum Curing Times. Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIMES FOR BONDED WINDOWS .

Further installation is performed in reverse order of the removal.

TIP:

After connecting the wires or antenna wires, there may be additional wires for other optional equipment. Cut off these unnecessary wire ends at their connection base.
