Outer Window Shaft Strip, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Move the door window into the "open" position.
-- Remove the exterior rearview mirror. Refer to EXTERIOR REARVIEW MIRROR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Starting at the B-pillar, use the Removal Wedge:T40233 -item 2- to carefully push the window shaft strip -1- upward off of the door flange -arrows-.
-- Remove the window shaft strip.
