Left And Right Headlamp Beam Adjustment Motor -V48- / -V49-, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Place the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

-- Turn the light switch off.

-- Do not operate the flashers.

-- Remove the front wheel housing liner front section. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Remove the headlamp power output module. Refer to RIGHT AND LEFT LED HEADLAMP POWER OUTPUT MODULE 1 -A27- / -A31-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Remove the housing cover -1-.

-- Pry out the height adjusting screw -3- -arrow A-.

The height adjustment -3- must be replaced.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Release the headlamp beam adjustment motor -2- from the left headlamp by turning clockwise and from the right headlamp by turning counter-clockwise -arrow B-.

-- Move the adjustment motor downward. The ball head on the adjusting axle will disengage upward from the ball head mounting when doing this.

-- Remove the adjustment motor.
