Left And Right Daytime Running Lamp And Position Lamp Led Module -L176- / -L177-, Removing And Installing, Led Headlamp: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Pay attention that the fiber-optic cable is seated correctly in the LED module mounts.

-- If the Left/Right Daytime Running Lamp and Position Lamp LED Module -L176- / -L177- was replaced, the Right/Left LED Headlamp Power Output Module 1 Right LED Headlamp Power Output Module 1 -A27- / -A31- must be adapted to the Left/Right Daytime Running Lamp and Position Lamp LED Module -L176- / -L177-. For this in the following program the BCI code for the daytime running lamp LED module and Left and Right Daytime Running Lamp and Position Lamp LED Module -L176- / -L177- must be entered. The BCI code is printed on the circuit board and must be read and recorded before installing.

Procedure

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Select the Diagnostic mode and start the diagnosis.

-- Select the Test plan tab.

-- Select the Select individual test button and select the following tree structure consecutively:

Diagnostic-capable systems
00D6/00D7 - Left/right light control 2- A31/A27
00D6/00D7 - Left/right light control 2, functions
00D6/00D7 - Starting headlamps

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
