Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

- There are different versions of the front bumper cover -E- and the lower air intake grille -F-. Depending on the version of these components and the securing the Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17- -B- the removal is different.
- Depending on the vehicle version the bracket for the Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17- -B- is a component of the air duct of the bumper -C- or the lower air intake grille -F-. The Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17- -B- can also be secured via the bracket -D- on the impact member of the bumper. Refer to the Parts Information.
- The bracket for the temperature sensor -D- is depending on the version either directly clipped in the impact member of the bumper or secured with an expanding clip.
-- Switch off the ignition.
If the Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17- -B- is not accessible from the front and via the lower air intake grille -F- :
-- Remove the front bumper cover -E-. Refer to Front Bumper .
-- Disconnect the connector -A- on the temperature sensor -B-.
-- Carefully press together the clips -arrows- at the same time loosen the Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17- -B- from the mount.
If the Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17- -B- is accessible from the front and via the lower air intake grille -F- :
-- Disconnect the connector -A- on the temperature sensor -B-.
-- Carefully press together the clips -arrows- at the same time loosen the Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17- -B- from the mount.
