Relay and Fuse Panel 1 -SR1-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, LHD: Removing

-- Disconnect the battery. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the footwell cover on the driver side. Refer to the appropriate Service Information. .

-- Remove the left front sill panel. Refer to SILL PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the left front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Push the carpet in the relay and fuse panel 1 area to the side as far as possible.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2-.

-- Cut the cable tie.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.

-- Remove the relay and fuse panel 1 -item 3- from the threaded pins and remove it from the body toward the inside.

Tip:

The carpet must be removed if the relay and fuse panel 1 cannot be removed as described. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Release the clip in the direction of -arrow-, push the fuse panel -item 2- out toward the rear and disengage it from relay and fuse panel 1 -item 1-.

-- Open the clip and remove the auxiliary fuse panel -2-.

-- Release the clips in the direction of -arrows- and remove the relay -1- and the control modules from the relay panels.

-- Open the clips in the direction of -arrows- and press the relay panel -3- toward the rear and out of the bracket -4-.

-- Open the clip -1- and remove the connector terminal -2- from the bracket.

-- Remove relay and fuse panel 1.
