Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- When installing, the data bus on board diagnostic interface must always be installed with the protective cover -1-. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information, also if no protective cover has been used before.

TIP:

The rubber spacers -2- are adhered to the protective cover.

-- Slide the protective cover -1- with the rubber spacers -2- onto the threaded pins.

-- Connect the connectors -2, 4 and 5-.

-- Insert the data bus on board diagnostics interface -3- into the protective cover -1-, position it on the threaded pins and tighten on the inside of the protective cover using the nuts -arrows-.

-- Secure the opening of the protective cover under the carpet -6-.
