Charge Door Unit, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the luggage compartment left trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disengage the handle for the emergency release cable and free it up.

-- Open the charge door unit.

-- Remove the charging socket cap.

-- Grab behind the wheel housing liner and push the grommet -2- for the drain hose -1- inward.

-- Release the charge door unit at the markings -arrows- pierce using a small screwdriver at the markings.

-- Upper catch: position a screwdriver over the catch -1- and release with the screwdriver -arrow A-.

-- Lower catch: position a screwdriver under the catch -3- and release with the screwdriver -arrow B-.

-- Close the charge door unit.

-- Remove the charge door unit from the opening in the body.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1 and 2-.
