-- Turn off the ignition and all electrical equipment. Set the ignition key outside of the vehicle.

Vehicles with Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-

-- Remove the luggage compartment left side trim panel. Refer to LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-. Refer to CONTROL MODULE/DIGITAL SOUND SYSTEM AMPLIFIER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525- bracket.

Vehicles without Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-

-- Remove the service cover from the left luggage compartment side trim panel. Refer to OVERVIEW - LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE TRIM PANEL .
