The external multimedia device connection -1- is located in the multimedia device storage compartment in the center console.

If the USB Distributor -R293- is being replaced, the following procedure applies:
-- Connecting and switching on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Switch the ignition on.
-- Select and start the Diagnostic operating mode.
-- Select the Test plan tab.
-- Select the Select individual test button and select the following tree structure consecutively:
- Body
- Electrical system
- 01 - OBD-capable systems
- 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794 (MIB 3)
- 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1, functions
- 0743 - USB Distributor -R293, replacing
-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
