Condenser, Removing And Installing, Ea888 EVO4: Removing

-- Discharge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit or A/C SERVICE STATION, USING .

-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to Front Bumper .

-- Free up the wiring harness -8-.

-- Pry out the clamps -4-, -7-.

-- Remove the bolts -5- and -9-.

-- Remove the bolt -2-, if equipped.

-- Loosen the mounting bracket -1- with the hook operating lever release cable and move to the side.

-- Release the left and right retainers using the Elbow Assembly Tool:T10118  -arrows-, remove the upper air duct -1-.

-- Remove the front bumper cover end plate. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .

-- Remove the left and right bolts -4-, slightly press the radiator -1- upward.

-- Pull the air duct -2- slightly backward and disengage from the retaining tabs -5- -arrow A-.

-- Disconnect the tabs -3- and remove the air duct -2- toward the front -arrow B-.

-- Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING FROM CONDENSER .

-- Disconnect the connector -2- for the High Pressure Sensor -G65-.

-- Release the catches -arrows- and remove the condenser -1- slightly from the radiator, at the same time push the left and right air ducts to the side if necessary.

-- Lift up the condenser slightly, disengage on the bottom and remove downward.
