Seat Frame Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the bench seat / bucket seats. Refer to BENCH SEAT/SINGLE SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Move the front seats all the way forward.

-- Loosen the rear carpet in the rear seat area. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Fold the carpet forward toward the front seats.

Tip:

The carpet can be secured with cable ties to the headrests on the front seats.

-- Unclip the wire -1- and -2- on the seat frame mount -3- -arrows-.

-- If equipped, de-energize the 48 Volt system. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- To protect the sill panel, attach the Universal Vehicle Protector:VAS 871 001 before lifting out.
