Seat Forward/Back Adjuster Release Cable, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the front seat. Refer to FRONT SEAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Secure the front seat to the Engine/Transmission Holder - Seat Repair Fixture:VAS 6136 . Refer to FRONT SEAT, MOUNTING ON FIXTURE FOR SEAT REPAIR .

-- Remove the seat pan cover and cushion. Refer to SEAT PAN COVER AND CUSHION, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD SEAT .

-- Remove the bolts -1-.

-- Remove the seat forward/back adjuster release cable -2- from the seat pan.

-- Unclip the lower seat forward/back adjuster release cable from the seat pan.

-- Disengage the cable bracket -3- for the release cable from the bracket on the seat pan. To do this, release the hook -arrow-.

-- Disengage the release cable -1- from the seat forward/back adjustment release lever -2- and remove.
