Preparations For Compressor And Pressure Line Leak Check

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

Procedure

In one of the test steps in "Guided Fault Finding", it is prompted to connect the Turbocharger Tester Kit:V.A.G 1397A  to the pneumatic line to the Valve Block 2 in Driver Seat Valve Block 2 in Driver Seat -N476- / Valve Block 2 in Front Passenger Seat Valve Block 2 in Front Passenger Seat -N478-.

-- Disconnect the pneumatic line -arrow- to the valve block 2.

-- Using hoses and adapter pieces from the Pneumatic Repair Set:VAS 6618A  , connect the Turbocharger Tester Kit:V.A.G 1397A  to the pneumatic line -2- coming from the compressor.

TIP:

To connect the pneumatic lines, make an adapter hose from the Pneumatic Repair Set:VAS 6618 A  .

-- Connect the pneumatic lines following the leak test. Refer to PNEUMATIC LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .
