Engine, Removing From Scissor Lift Table

Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Lifting Tackle:3033
- Shop Crane:VAS6100
- Lift Arm Extension:VAS6101
Procedure
NOTE:
The engine may only be transported in the manner described and without the transmission.
- Engine/transmission assembly removed and separated on Scissor Lift Table:VAS6131B . Refer to ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION, SEPARATING .
- Vehicles without high-voltage system: engine secured with the Scissor Lift Table - Q7 Set - Articulated Joint Support:VAS6131/13-7 .
- Vehicles with high-voltage system: engine secured with the Engine Support:T10533/1 .
-- Attach the Lift Arm Extension:VAS6101 to the Shop Crane:VAS6100 .
-- Engage the Lifting Tackle:3033 at the engine lifting eyes and at the workshop crane and pretension.
Vehicle without High-Voltage System:
-- Remove the Articulated Joint Support:VAS6131/13-7 from the engine.
Vehicle with High-Voltage System:
-- Remove the Engine Support:T10533/1 from the engine.
Continuation for All Vehicles:
-- Remove the left and right bolts -2-. (Shown on the installed engine.)
-- Pry up the engine with the workshop crane.
