Driveshaft Heat Shield, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the nuts -arrows-.
-- Remove the exhaust system clamping sleeves. Refer to OVERVIEW - MUFFLER - 3.0L , OVERVIEW - MUFFLER - Servicing 3.0L and OVERVIEW - EMISSIONS CONTROL SYSTEM - 3.0L .
-- Remove the heat shield -1- toward the front.
