Axle Alignment Information
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2023 Audi SQ8, 2023 Audi RS Q8, and 2023 Audi Q8. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Wheel alignment must only be performed using VW/Audi-approved alignment equipment.
- Each time wheels are aligned, both front and rear wheels must be aligned. Otherwise, proper vehicle drivability cannot be ensured.
- Axle alignment should not be performed until the vehicle has been driven at least 1, 000-2, 000 km (621.4-1, 242.7 miles), since it takes this long for the suspension to settle.
- The individual specifications should be followed as precisely as possible when making adjustments.
CAUTION:
There is a risk of accident due to threaded connections that are not tightened correctly.
- Tighten threaded connections correctly before driving on public roads.
