Starter, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With 2.0L TFSI Engine: Removing

-- Disconnect the ground cable from the battery when the ignition is switched off. Refer to Battery -A-, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the right engine support and engine mount. Refer to ENGINE SUPPORT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -arrow-.

-- Remove the nut -4- and free up the 30/B+ wire terminal -2-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the bolt -5-.

-- Remove the starter -1-.
