The Battery Charger:VAS5908 has the following modes available:

AUTO MODE , maintenance charging with automatic load detection (battery or consumer). Refer to AUTO MODE WITH Battery Charger .
CHARGING MODE , battery charging with adjustable parameters. Refer to BATTERY, CHARGING WITH Battery Charger
FSV MODE , FSV (external power supply), backup power supply. Refer to SUPPORT MODE WITH Battery Charger
I-CHECK , current draw test with shorted cell testing. Refer to VAS I-CHECK CURRENT DRAW TEST WITH Battery Charger

Various parameters and default settings to ensure the measured values and the conditions for switching the Battery Charger:VAS5908 on and off can be set in the device menu.
