Rear Final Drive
- Driveshaft
- Removing and Installing. Refer to DRIVESHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Removing and installing on the rear final drive. Refer to DRIVE SHAFT, REMOVING FROM REAR FINAL DRIVE AND INSTALLING .
- Rear Final Drive
- Refer to FINAL DRIVE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING
- Auxiliary Mount
- 20 Nm
- Not installed on all versions
- Tightening at the subframe is only permitted via the upper hex fitting -arrow-
- To tighten the nut OVERVIEW - REAR FINAL DRIVE, AUDI Q7 AND Q8, counterhold at the lower hex fitting
- Subframe
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME .
- Rear Bonded Rubber Bushing
- Removing and Installing. Refer to OVERVIEW - SUBFRAME .
- Bolt
- 70 Nm + 180°
- Always replace.
- There are different bolt lengths. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information for the allocation.
- Bolt
For vibration damper
- 55 Nm + 90°
- Always replace.
- Vibration Damper
- Not installed on all versions
- Installation position: the inner protruding collar points toward the final drive
- Drive Axle
- Removing and Installing. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 23 Nm
- Not installed on all versions
- Heat Shield
Different versions
- Assembly from below with the two bolts; tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - REAR FINAL DRIVE, AUDI Q7 AND Q8.
- Assembly on the side with three bolts; tightening specification Refer to Fig 2
- Nut
- 20 Nm
- Not installed on all versions
- Front Bonded Rubber Bushing
- Removing and Installing. Refer to BONDED RUBBER BUSHING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- M14 Bolt
- 130 Nm + 180°
- Always replace.
Bolts arrows for heat shield A
- 23 Nm
- Not installed on all versions
