All-Wheel Drive Clutch Torque, Checking

The torque is only checked when it suggested based on "Guided Fault Finding".

Special tools and workshop equipment required 

-- Remove the driveshaft. Refer to DRIVE AXLE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester and switch on the ignition.

-- On the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, select the function 22 - Actuator test  under Guided Functions  in the 22 - AWD electronics  folder.

-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions in the display of the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

-- Mount the tool as shown to check the torque of the all-wheel drive clutch.

A - Torque Wrench 1332 40-200Nm:V.A.G 1332  and Torque Wrench 80-400Nm :V.A.G 1576 

-- Install the driveshaft. Refer to the appropriate Service Information .
