Thermal Management Control Module -J1024-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING

• If the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- is replaced, before installing start the test plan for replacing the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024-. Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .

Thermal Management Control Module -J1024-, Removing

Vehicles with High-Voltage System

-- Switch off (deactivate) the "parking air conditioner". Refer to Owner's Manual.

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Remove the right front wheel housing liner. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -A-.

-- Release the retainer -A-, and remove the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- -C- in the direction of the -arrow-.

Bracket for Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- (and Subframe Mount Control Module -J931-), Removing

Vehicles with High-Voltage System

-- Switch off (deactivate) the "parking air conditioner". Refer to Owner's Manual.

Continuation for all vehicles

-- Switch off the ignition.

-- Remove the end panel on the right front fender. Refer to Fender (for accessibility to the screw -D-).

-- Remove the bolt -D-.

-- Remove the right front wheel housing liner. Refer to OVERVIEW - FRONT WHEEL HOUSING LINER .

-- Release and disconnect the connector -A-.

-- Release and disconnect the connector -B-.

-- Remove the bolt -C-.

-- Turn the bracket -F- (with the control module -E-) in the direction of -arrow- and remove downward.

Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

-- Check that the bracket -F- and the installed control modules are installed correctly.

-- Check that the connectors -A, B- are correctly seated and locked.

-- Retrieve the DTC memory and if necessary, delete the displayed faults using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .

-- If the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- is replaced, complete the test plan using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .
