Outside Air Temperature Sensor -G17-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

Vehicles with High-Voltage System
-- Switch off (deactivate) the "parking air conditioner". Refer to Owner's Manual.
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Switch off the ignition.
Vehicles without radiator shutter
-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .
-- If the upper air duct is installed, loosen the mounting bracket with the release cable for the operating lever hook and fold it back. Refer to OVERVIEW - RELEASE CABLE .
Vehicles with radiator shutter
-- Remove the end panel cover. Refer to OVERVIEW - BUMPER COVER .
Continuation for all vehicles
TIP
- The bracket for the temperature sensor -A- depending on the version is either secured with an expanding clip -D- or with a bolt on the impact member of the bumper -E-.
-- Disconnect the connector -C- on the temperature sensor -B- and unclip the temperature sensor from the bracket -A-.
