Connected Gateway, Replacing Emergency Battery: Removing

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical equipment and remove the ignition key.
-- Remove the carpet on the driver side. Refer to CARPET, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Release the retainers and remove the cover -1- from the Connected Gateway upward in the -direction of the arrow-.
-- Tilt the Emergency Battery -- -1- out of the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533-.
-- Release and disconnect the connector.
