Overview - Microphone Unit, Through My 2020

The microphone unit is located in the Front Roof Module -WX3- and is comprised of the Interior Microphone -R74-, the Left Front Microphone -R140- and the Right Front Microphone -R141-.

The Interior Microphone -R74- is connected directly to the Digital Sound System Control Module -J525-.

The Left Front Microphone -R140- for vehicles:

Without connect Plus (IV0) and without emergency call system (IW0) is connected with the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-
Without connect Plus (IV0) and with emergency call system (IW1/IW3/) is connected to the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- and is >>looped<< to the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-
With connect Plus (IV1 through IV8) and with emergency call system (IW3) connected to the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.

The Right Front Microphone -R141- for vehicles:

Without connect Plus (IV0) and without emergency call system (IW0) is connected with the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-
Without connect Plus (IV0) and with emergency call system (IW1) is connected to the Data Bus on Board Diagnostic Interface -J533- and is >>looped<< to the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-
Without connect Plus (IV0) and with emergency call system (IW3) is connected with the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-
With connect Plus (IV1 through IV8) and with emergency call system (IW3) is connected to the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- and is >>looped<< to the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.
