Overview - Mobile Online Services, From My 2021

The mobile online services are based on the eCall and bCall as well as the Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949-.

The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- is safeguarded against a crash by being installed under the right front seat. The Control Module for Emergency Call Module and Communication Unit -J949- contains an emergency call module and a compass module. A separate SIM card is installed for the emergency call function.

Troubleshooting

The mobile online services system is capable of OBD.

Fault Finding is performed using the "Guided Fault Finding" on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
