Front Information Display Control Head 2 -J1060-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Notes

The Front Information Display Control Head 2 -J1060- is located in the front center console.
If the Front Information Display Control Head 2 -J1060- is being replaced, the following procedure applies:
-- Connecting and switching on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
-- Switch the ignition on.
-- Select and start the Diagnostic operating mode.
-- Select the Test plan tab.
-- Select the Select individual test button and select the following tree structure consecutively:
- Diagnostic-capable systems
- 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794 (MIB 2+) or 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1 - J794 (MIB 3)
- 005F - Information Electronics Control Module 1, functions
- 069B - Front Information Display Control Head 2 -J1060-, replacing
-- Start the selected program and follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.
