Decoupler Actuator -V606-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the left subframe shield upper section. Refer to SUBFRAME SHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the rear noise insulation. Refer to OVERVIEW - NOISE INSULATION .

LHD Vehicles:

-- Remove the steering intermediate shaft from the steering gear and push together. Refer to STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the heat shield -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow-.

-- Remove the bolts -3 to 1- and the Decoupler Actuator -V606-.

TIP:

When removing the actuator the driver can fall out.
