Brake Pads, Removing And Installing, Q8: Notes

Special tools and workshop equipment required

Piston Resetting Tool:T10145
Position the Piston Resetting Tool:T10145 with a wooden block -1- between it and the old brake pads. Push the brake caliper pistons all the way back into the brake caliper.
Grease. Refer to the appropriate Parts Information.

When changing the brake pad, check the brake rotor for wear and damage.

CAUTION:

Health risk due to toxic dust from the brake system.

Irreversible deposit of dust particles in the lungs. Breathing impairments may occur.

- Never blow out the brake system with compressed air.
