Brake Pedal, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal and note the following:
-- Insert the mounting pin -3- from the left to the right until it stops.
-- Secure the mounting pin with the clamp -2- and screw -arrow-.
- Make sure the clip -2- sits completely in the mounting pin groove.
- A damaged mounting pin clip must be replaced.
-- Connect the brake pedal -1- to the brake booster. Refer to BRAKE PEDAL, DISCONNECTING FROM BRAKE BOOSTER .
CAUTION:
Faulty brakes increase the risk of an accident.
- Make sure the brakes are working correctly before driving the vehicle for the first time.
