Brake Caliper Piston, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the parking brake motor. Refer to Left Parking Brake Motor -V282- /Right Front Upper Body Vent Motor -V238-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the brake caliper. Refer to BRAKE CALIPER, REPLACING .

-- Turn the spindle with a XZN 9 Socket -A- in the direction of -arrow a-. This allows the thrust nut to push the brake caliper piston -3- out of the brake caliper -1-.

-- Carefully pry the protective cap -4- out of the groove -arrow- on the front brake caliper piston -3-.

-- Carefully pry the inner sealing lip of the protective cap -4- out of the groove -arrows- on the brake caliper -1-.

-- Remove the brake caliper piston -3-. To do so, use the :3409 .

-- Carefully pry the seal -2- out of the brake caliper -1-.
