Determining Wear on Ceramic Brakes:: Chamfer

Chamfers -arrow- on the edges of the brake rotor are caused by mechanical damage.

The following are permitted:

Ceramic brake rotors are to be replaced if any of these criteria are exceeded.

CAUTION:

Risk of accident due to uneven braking.

- Always replace brake rotors on both sides of the axle.

- Also replace the brake pads on both sides of the axle.
