Ignition Coils, Removing And Installing, Cylinder Bank 2 (Left): Removing

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the connector -1- for the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor 3 Bank 2 -G497- from the bracket, disconnect it and free up the wire.

-- Release and disconnect the connectors -2 and 5-.

-- Free up the wiring harness.

-- Remove the connector -2- for the Oxygen Sensor 2 after Catalytic Converter -G131- from the bracket, disconnect it and free up the wire.

-- Press the release buttons on both sides and remove the hose -2- for the crankcase ventilation, to do so loosen the extension pipe of the oil filler tube and move it to the side.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- for the wiring duct -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -3- for the fuel injectors.

-- Disconnect the connector of the high pressure pump -3- and free up the wires.

1. For the Cylinder 5 Intake Cam Actuator 1 -F464-
2. for Camshaft Position Sensor 4 -G301-
3. For the Cylinder 5 Exhaust Camshaft Adjuster 1 -F466-
4. For the Fuel Pressure Sensor 2 -G624-
5. For the Cylinder 8 Exhaust Camshaft Adjuster 1 -F478-
6. For the Cylinder 8 Intake Camshaft Adjuster 1 -F476-
7. For the Camshaft Position Sensor 2 -G163-
8. For the ignition coils

-- Push the wiring harness with wiring duct to the right side.
