Camshaft Position Sensor -G40-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING: Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

Audi Q7/Q8:

-- Remove the air filter housing. Refer to AIR FILTER HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, AUDI Q7/Q8 .

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Remove the bolt -1-, and remove the Camshaft Position Sensor -G40- -item 2-. (Shown with removed intake manifold.)
