For all the following work, close the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set:VAS 6122 .

Depending on the vehicle version, it is installed in the left plenum chamber (near the brake fluid reservoir, as shown here) under the plenum chamber cover or in the left side of the engine compartment (on vehicles with a high-voltage system, for example).
