Evacuating And Charging Valve, Removing And Installing, Low And High Pressure Side: Installing
Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:
- Depending on the refrigerant, the evacuating and charging valves may vary. Refer to Parts Information.
-- Evacuate and charge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit or Working with A/C Service Station .
Vehicles with High-Voltage System
-- Switch the ignition on.
-- Vehicles with Heat Pump Function, Initiate the basic setting of the A/C system through the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- and activate the power-controlled valves using the routine Charge/flush the refrigerant circuit stop routine using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .
Continuation for all vehicles
-- Then check the DTC memory of the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- (on vehicles with high-voltage system) and of the Front A/C Display Control Head -E87- and delete any entries displayed using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in the "Guided Fault Finding" function.
-- Operate the A/C system after charging the refrigerant circuit. Refer to A/C SYSTEM, STARTING AFTER CHARGING REFRIGERANT CIRCUIT .
